The Glass Castle

I just finished reading The Glass Castle, and it was seriously one of the best books I've read. It's a memoir about a girls upbringing with really out-there parents. It's amazing to me some of the things people have to go through in life and then I think about what a crap I am to ever complain about a thing. I have so much to be grateful for, but definitely have days where I'm just in the dumps, so I'm going to make a change. I recently went to a seminar that talked about how complaining affects you and the way you percieve things, so I'm going to make a serious effort not to allow myself to do it. I have such a great family with the funniest, cutest little girls and a fox of a hubby, the church, a home I love, and a job I totally enjoy so thats it no more complaining! BTW, its sort of a sad book, but sooooo good. You should read it.

The Puyallup Fair

We had such a great time today at the fair. Today was opening day so we went to the parade to kick it off then Kylie and Sophs had a blast on the rides. Fun day!!

We spent Labor Day weekend camping at Sun Lakes with my family. We had tons of fun boating, eating, relaxing and just sitting around chatting. It was the first campout for us as a family and aside from not sleeping, and massive wind at night, we had a blast!

We had such a great time in Idaho with Mike's family. The kids had so much fun playing together! We went to Bear World on our way back to Idaho Falls. It's the coolest place, that totally a deer they are petting! They got to ride rides and pet deer, goat, chickens, feed fish and ducks, and drive into the wilderness part with tons of bears. It was so fun. We had such a good time. Thanks Ryan and Lisa!
