	Sophie loves to do projects, color, paint and do puzzles right now. She's so ready for school and really Sept can't come soon enough for either of us.

Gavin is seriously a huge dude! He is growing up so fast and wants so much to keep up with everything the girls are doing.

We live for sunny days, few and far between, but we definitely get out and enjoy them.

Such a funny kid, he actually rides the girls barbie cars around.

Sophie started dance this month and is so excited and loving it. Kate put on matching stuff and came along, no class yet for her. So adorable in those leotards!

First haircut for Kate, she barely moved a muscle the whole time and didn't say a word. Pretty funny to watch.

Started swimming lessons for the girls last night. Sophie's teacher was great, they had a blast. Way too much work for 30 mins of pool time!

Absolute elation over her make-up from Santa. Her response to being too young for make-up was "I will just ask Santa since he brings whatever you ask him for." Funny kid!!

Gavin had a blast and this ride-along toy is his absolute favorite! He is so fast and amazingly coordinated on it. He's hilarious to watch on it and totally knows it!

I love Christmas! We had such a great month of celebrating. Of course an early stop was to the tree farm where Sophie picked our beautiful tree and after Mike put the lights up, decorated almost by herself.

Idaho, Utah roadtrip!

Wow, what an adventure a roadtrip is! We had so much fun taking the kiddos on a 10 day trip to Idaho and Utah visiting friends and family. They did great on the road, the only hard part was sleeping in tons of different places, Mike and I got very little sleep on the trip, but oh well. First stop was Idaho to visit Jenn and Lance for a fun celebration. Then Idaho Falls to visit Grandparents, aunts and cousins, it was great to see everyone there. Then off to Utah to see Dena and fam, my siblings and then spent a weekend with Ryan and Lisa at their beautiful cabin. Awesome trip, great to see so many friends and family!

The little guy is already 3 mons old! I can hardly believe how fast time goes by. He's such a sweet baby, we sure love having a baby boy around. He's super smiley and a generally really happy guy. He eats tons and has really grown in the last couple weeks. He's just 10.11 lbs and 23.5 ins. Sophie was his size at around 2 weeks! Such a little cutie!

Selfish addiction

So in mid December I started going to Hot Yoga... I'd never done any yoga before this and am now totally hooked. The room is 115 degrees, sometimes hotter and the workout is so intense and amazing. I'm loving it and am so glad I gave it a shot. Try something new, who knows it might end up being something you never knew you loved.

So he's been here for 2 weeks now and he's doing great. He's such a good baby, we really scored this time! The girls love to hold him, getting them to let go when Gavin's done is another thing though. The girls are nuts, always screaming and fighting and he just stays in lala land which is great, their craziness doesn't faze him a bit. We're really enjoying our new addition!

Preschool started last week and Sophie was SO excited to be back in Miss Cindy's class. She loves going to school and hanging out with all her friends there.

The girls sure are cute together! I wish I knew how to keep them from fighting all the time, they definitely love and play hard. This baby better come out with boxing gloves to defend himself! I feel like a referee most of the time.

10 year reunion

Last weekend was my 10 year reunion! I can't believe I'm old enough and that I had to be pregnant there! It was fun though to see my old friends, and see how everyone is doing now. Overall, girls look much better than guys 10 yrs later, a lot of the guys are fatties now. (really though who am I to be judging right now :) haha. Fun stuff.

Today was Sophie's grad party at the Super Jump. These kids are all so adorable and her teacher is just the best. They're signing the ABC's, I can't believe how fast they learn things. The slide was huge and obviously pretty intimidating to her, I had to climb up a few times to help her, but then she got the hang and had a blast. Such fun, she'll be back again in Sept.

Sophie started preschool this last month, and absolutely loves it. Her teacher is Miss Cindy, a friend of mine, and Soph just thinks she's the greatest. She has so much fun doing all the activities. It really is the greatest thing to have those hours for just Kate and I. Love it!

Sophie turned 3 in Feb. She's getting to be such a big girl, growing up so fast.

She got a few electronics, in about a year she will be teaching me how to use things.

I'm finally walking again! It's so fantastic to wear shoes and not be on crutches. Physical therapy is going great, and I should be walking completely on my own in a week or so. Yipeeeee. Right now I have to use a cane... this has been quite the humbling experience.
Kate is also moving right along. She's been army crawling for a couple weeks now, then just today at church she finally got her knees under her and was crawling all over. I love it when they crawl, its just so cute when they figure it out.

So I received a text from Crin Friday morning saying that she had fallen and that she was bleeding from the incision and she was heading into the doctors. When the doctor saw her and felt her Achilles he knew right away that she had rupture it again. She had surgery in the afternoon and we now start the healing process all over again. Aren't life challenges so much fun!

The Glass Castle

I just finished reading The Glass Castle, and it was seriously one of the best books I've read. It's a memoir about a girls upbringing with really out-there parents. It's amazing to me some of the things people have to go through in life and then I think about what a crap I am to ever complain about a thing. I have so much to be grateful for, but definitely have days where I'm just in the dumps, so I'm going to make a change. I recently went to a seminar that talked about how complaining affects you and the way you percieve things, so I'm going to make a serious effort not to allow myself to do it. I have such a great family with the funniest, cutest little girls and a fox of a hubby, the church, a home I love, and a job I totally enjoy so thats it no more complaining! BTW, its sort of a sad book, but sooooo good. You should read it.

We spent Labor Day weekend camping at Sun Lakes with my family. We had tons of fun boating, eating, relaxing and just sitting around chatting. It was the first campout for us as a family and aside from not sleeping, and massive wind at night, we had a blast!

We had such a great time in Idaho with Mike's family. The kids had so much fun playing together! We went to Bear World on our way back to Idaho Falls. It's the coolest place, that totally a deer they are petting! They got to ride rides and pet deer, goat, chickens, feed fish and ducks, and drive into the wilderness part with tons of bears. Sandy and I took the girls to the circus. The girls had fun, Sophs was scared to death of the clowns but warmed up to them after a bit. It was a fun experience although I'm not sure I'd go again... the circus is sort of weird.

We had such a fun 4th! We grilled and had a backyard campout with some friends. It was so fun except for Sophs being terrified of the fireworks. I didn't mind too much though when Soph woke up crying not too long after we went to bed so I had to go in with the kids. Fun times!

Weekend in Chicago

Mike and I had such a great weekend away in Chicago, thanks to THG. He had a black tie gala he was invited to so we stayed a couple extra nights and got to see the town. We felt a little out of our league at the event but had fun with our tablemates and ate super good food. The next morning there was a brunch on the 95th floor of the Hancock building which was amazing... there's a peek down. We spent the rest of the time walking and eating, going to movies and then seeing Wicked. It was so fun and that was such a great show, so entertaining. I thought it was interesting how gorgeous everyone in Chicago is, so done up and wearing the cutest clothes... I couldn't have felt frumpier so I just ate more. Garretts popcorn from there is heaven on earth if you ever go.

Sophie had so much fun opening her presents and was so cute with her excited reactions to all her fun new toys. As you can see the birthday song and all the attention got a little stressful for her. While we were all singing she just burst into tears... she did the same thing at her friend party too, then just started yelling after she blew out the candle. I guess she just had too many emotions and didn't know what to do with them.

I finally got this figured out again! I am the stupidest person when it comes to computers, and have zero patience. I'm excited though to be back in business. We are doing great, Michael and I got home from a great vacation in Mexico. Sophie had tons of fun at Gramme and Papas, and now we're just back to real life. I'm excited for fall, I love the new shows and watching leaves falling, and most of all the pumpkin spice bars Kelly got me hooked on last year!! Sophie's walking all over the place now, she took off in April and hasn't stopped going. She's so funny to see walking and is so brave. Yesterday at the lake, she was playing in the sand then just ran for the water and went in to her head!! I was the crazy mom running after my kid a bit too late! Dad's going to have to start taking her swimming.

1st Time at the Zoo

We've been loving all the beautiful weather. I
loaded up the kids and Sophie, Kylie and I took
a zoo trip with Dena and her kids. We had tons
of fun. If you haven't been to Woodland Park
lately you should go, it's so fun. Sophie's a little
heavy though... I was hurting by the end of the day.

We can't believe that Sophie is a year old already. We took her for her 1yr pictures and she is so big and cute!! Life this year will be full of lots of changes, Michael is finally done with school and will start a new job next week. This week he has been off so we have been able to finish all the little projects he didn't have time while in school to complete. I love my new patio set, and I finally won the battle of putting up a little fence around our patio. Now Molly and Sophie are free to roam outside. We are so excited for warm weather and lots of BBQs and spending time in the garden. You can check out Sophie's pictures at;
